England to Face Norway as France Draw Morocco in 2026 FIFA World Cup Quarter-Finals
England will face Norway in one of the quarter-final fixtures at the 2026 FIFA World Cup after the Three Lions survived a thrilling Round of 16 contest against co-hosts Mexico.
Thomas Tuchel’s side secured a dramatic 3-2 victory thanks to a brace from Jude Bellingham and a goal from captain Harry Kane, earning their place in the last eight.
Norway also booked their quarter-final spot on Sunday with a stunning 2-1 win over five-time champions Brazil. Erling Haaland scored both goals for the Scandinavian side, while Neymar’s strike was not enough to prevent Brazil from suffering a shock exit.
Another confirmed quarter-final will see France take on Morocco.
France progressed after Kylian Mbappé scored the only goal in a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Paraguay in the Round of 16.
Morocco, meanwhile, reached the World Cup quarter-finals for the second consecutive tournament after a convincing 3-0 victory over co-hosts Canada, continuing their impressive run on the global stage.
